Munchist accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. All prices are subject to change without notice even from day to day. We cannot price match any previous orders or any other website. Catalog prices do not reflect the cost of delivery. Colorado sales taxes will be added for all customers within Colorado.
RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
For returns, refunds and exchanges, please contact customer service within 24-48 hours of receipt. Since our packages are perishable, please inspect your package immediately upon receipt. We will do everything possible to re-route orders for timely delivery but cannot be responsible for damaged or compromised product due to the following:
- Delayed deliveries due to weather or construction.
- Incorrect addresses. (Please be sure to include apartment, suite or floor numbers, as needed. Most carriers will not deliver without that information.)
- Cases in which the carrier verified with GPS that the package was delivered but you cannot locate it.
- Gift shipments sent to recipients who are out of town or otherwise unavailable to receive their shipment. Please notify recipient of the pending arrival of perishables!
- Package received but contents not refrigerated within 24 hours allowing for unnecessary spoilage. (all boxes are clearly marked “Perishable”)
- Items that have been discarded or consumed. – If the product is discarded no refund can be provided at all. In most cases the product is as expected and needs to be verified prior to disposal.
Due to variances in flavor preferences, we cannot issue refunds or returns if you simply didn’t enjoy the flavor of a product.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Munchist takes one to two days to receive and process your order.
The shipping clock begins the day we ship the order—not when the order was placed. If the map below shows it’ll take 2 days to reach you, and we ship it 2 days after the order was placed, it’ll take a total time of 4 days after order placement to arrive.
Where Ground shipping can’t deliver your order as quickly as we require, or where Ground shipping is not available for your location, we do not display Ground as a shipping option in the checkout process.
Please consult the map below for your days-in-transit, should you choose Ground shipping.
During December and other peak periods, we require one additional day to process and deliver your order.
We ship all packages with Signature Release, so FedEx will leave it at your door if you are not available to receive it.
We cannot currently offer gift messages. Hopefully in the future but unfortunately not quite yet.
GIFT RECEIPT POLICY
Packing slips will include the package contents, the name of the sender, and the recipient’s information. It will not include pricing.
Your cheeses are packaged in insulated envelopes, or cooler boxes depending on the product and amount purchased. Ice packs will be included to ensure quality standards for up to 72 hours. Items ordered together are not necessarily shipped together.
Please note that to ensure quality, all cheese is cut to order. Cutting cheese is an art, not a science. We do our very best to cut as accurately as possible.
You may be given the option at checkout to allow Munchist to make substitutions to your order in the event that an item is out of stock. Due to seasonal availability and supply limitations, we may need to substitute items within gift selections. We always compose gift selections with alternative ingredients of equal or greater quality.
SUPPLYING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Munchist collects information from you at several different points on our Web site in order to facilitate the delivery of services or the fulfillment of an order. There will be times, such as when placing an order, subscribing to a service, or registering on the site, at which we may request personal information such as your name, billing/shipping address, telephone number, e-mail address, credit card information, etc. It is solely your choice whether or not you provide this information. However, should you choose not to provide the information, we may be unable to process an order, fulfill a service, or display certain content on our Web site.
INTERNAL USE OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Munchist uses collected information for internal use such as analyzing trends and statistics, creation of your personalized “my account” section, and sending newsletters by e-mail.
EXTERNAL USE OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION
We use outside purveyors for some services such as shipping and credit card processing. To use these services, we must provide them with some of your personal information. These companies work with us with the understanding that they are not permitted to retain, share, store or use your information for any purpose aside from assisting in your customer transaction with Munchist.
At times, we partner with third parties to provide specific services, such as sending our e-mail newsletters. When you sign up to receive newsletters or mailings, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These companies work with us with the understanding that they are not permitted to retain, share, store or use your information for any purpose aside from assisting in your customer transaction with Munchist.
This Web site takes precautions to protect your information.
When our registration/order form asks you to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the customary encryption software used in the ecommerce industry – SSL.
COUPONS & SALES
All coupons listed online and promotional pricing on our site are valid for online orders only and cannot be used at our retail locations, unless otherwise noted.
Clubs, Classes, and Gift Cards do not qualify for coupon discounts, unless otherwise noted.
